Len McManus, PE

Len McManusLen McManus brings more than 28 years of civil engineering experience in a variety of public sector practices. He has 20 years of municipal experience with the cities of Farmers Branch and Richardson and 8 years as a public works consultant serving north Texas. He has provided planning, design, construction  management and municipal civil engineering experience in his roles as both a city employee and a consultant. His public works experience includes plan review, contract document and specification preparation, program management of the city’s drainage and erosion programs, capital program management and planning, and budget development and control.

His public agency infrastructure experience also includes Master Thoroughfare Planning, Land Use and Master Zoning Plans, System-wide Drainage Evaluations and Prioritizations, Master Water Use Plans, Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Systems, and Master Sewer Plans. He was responsible for the development of Richardson’s drainage design manual. He was also responsible for ten different city budgets including all public works maintenance, operations and capital programs.

His design experience includes urban and rural roadways, water and sewer pipelines and replacement alternatives, storm sewer and culvert installation and replacements, as well as erosion control designs. Len provided infrastructure life cycle program and project oversight as well as budget control and project delivery for several public agencies.
